The Bella Vita engages in a holistic and spiritual approach to treatment, aimed towards mental and physical well-being, and our experienced staff members specialize in diverse psychological approaches. We treat individuals coping with an eating disorderat all levels of care, ranging from outpatient services, to intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, to residential and inpatient treatment programs. We also offer a group private practicespecializing in a wide spectrum of psychological conditions. Also, our Wellness Center offers many different spiritual and wellness practices.

Our Wellness Programs are aimed at a proactive apprroach to spiritual and physical wellness, through positive practice, mental awareness and spiritual enlightenment. The Bella Vita introduces therapies such as therapeutic massage, yoga, aromatherapy, meditation, feng shui and more.

Our treatment facility offers a comprehensive range of services, so that clinical treatment can be tailored to meet individual needs. The Bella Vita provides mental health and wellness services, as well as services to eating disorder patients through our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs and Outpatient Counseling Services. Our facility is neatly tucked into the hills of Los Angeles County, between the cities of Los Angeles and Pasadena, conveniently located off the 134 freeway.

This makes our location convenient to reach, yet free of the activity of traffic. At The Bella Vita, A Beautiful Life Psychology Group, Inc., the peace of mind of our patients is our first consideration, down to each individual corner of our office. An ornate patio with flowing and still-water fountain awaits at the threshold of our program's home. Inside, we offer a spacious atmosphere and serene setting in all rooms of our facility.

Our facility currently offers therapies including psychological therapy, mental wellness therapy, physical wellness therapy, massage therapy and meditation therapy, as well as our renowned eating disorder therapies.

Individuals find the treatment they require through providing them a dedicated clinical staff which is on hand at all times, and the commodity of the comforts of home in a treatment environment. The Bella Verita offers a safe, supportive environment for adolescents through adulthood experiencing Eating Disorders and related disorders who are at risk of institutional placement, persons transitioning from inpatient and residential settings, or for those who are working on recovery while easing back into independent living.

  Unlike other treatment facilities that may feel confrontational, controlling and rigid, we ease the pressure you feel by offering you an environment that is structured; yet nurturing. We desire to make your experience more conducive to learning the skills that enable you to begin living healthier lives. Residential treatment is 24/7 care.

  The Bella Speranza offers care for both adults and adolescents. This level of care, as with all others, is determined during the initial consultation. Although the majority of those suffering from eating disorders are female, we treat both males and females. The program focuses on your individual needs, encouraging you to take an active role in expressing your feelings, thoughts and goals.

  The Bella Speranza Residential Healing includes monitoring of unstable vitals and labs, starvation effects, purging and non-purging behaviors, such as, excessive exercise, vomiting and laxatives, and substance abuse with a focus on the individual's nutritional goals while attending educational and therapeutic groups.

  The Bella Speranza housed is a charming Cape Cod residence in the sought out community of La Cañada Flintridge, California. The beautifully decorated and spacious home is a six bed residential facility. It is tastefully decorated with a grand living room, formal dining room, kitchen nook, meditation room and entertainment room, including a computer and internet access. Each bedroom is comfortably and tastefully decorated with unique themes from our outdoor jungle mural and motif to a room for sophisticated tastes to a rustic tone. Our grounds are likened to an Italian garden with fresh herbs amidst our lavender bushes, trees, shrubbery and flowers. Our French doors lead to an open patio with fountain for calm and relaxation. Our quaint garden courtyard is yet another opportunity to escape to being rejuvenated. The facility is within walking distance of specialty stores, drug store with pharmacy, grocery stores, newly opened Town Center shopping, activities and city events. The length of stay varies according to the needs of the individual. Residents are asked to commit to a minimum stay of one to two months in order to interrupt eating disorder patterns. Potential residents must have a recent medical evaluation to determine medical stability for a residential setting.

  The Bella Speranza's well-developed curriculum to help patients deal with the physical danger they are putting themselves in. Our program will assist patients to establish a clear set of goals. Established boundaries that are closely monitored and reinforced will assist patients to achieve these goals.
